Following a series of structural issues along the ageing 1970s Stokes Bay seawall, Storm Eunice in February 2022 caused significant failure across a 135-metre stretch, prompting the need for a full replacement. From the outset, it was clear that the deteriorated condition of the existing structure would demand a robust piling-led solution. Our specialist in-house piling capability played a central role in shaping the most efficient approach, enabling us to respond quickly as the true extent of the damage became apparent.
