What we do
The types of projects we support include earthworks, retaining structures, bridgeworks, drainage, port and harbour walls, piers and jetties, flood defences, groynes and beach erosion protection.
The breadth of our capabilities and range of specialist equipment means we can tackle the most complex and technically demanding projects and deliver cost-effective and reliable solutions. Our teams and equipment can be deployed rapidly to deal with emergencies such as landslips and embankment failures.
We’re accustomed to working in confined sites with difficult access, alongside operational rail tracks and in environmentally-sensitive areas.
How we do it
We simplify the entire process for our customers, with clear lines of communication and accountability backed by data-driven reporting. Continuous investment in skills and equipment means our customers always benefit from the most appropriate and efficient ground engineering solution.
Depending on the circumstances we sometimes use test bores to complement geotechnical surveys before recommending the most appropriate method.
For bored piling projects our engineers record technical data directly on the rig to track the pile profile, concrete flow and the pressure exerted on the concrete. This provides a more accurate picture than theoretical calculations.
