Alumhurst Road Hospital is a CAMHS facility in Dorset providing residential support for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties. As principal contractor, we delivered a bored kingpost retaining wall with timber sleeper infills, along with hard and soft landscaping, to transform an underused area into a welcoming space for patients and staff. Working sensitively within an active healthcare environment, we used low-noise, low-emission equipment and auger-bored techniques to minimise disturbance. Careful planning, precise plant selection and in-house delivery ensured excellent alignment, quality finishes and a result that enhanced the hospital’s outdoor amenity.
