The Sevington Depot near Ashford serves as Network Rail’s high-output operating base, receiving ballast trains and supplying aggregates for major rail maintenance across the region. To expand the site’s storage capacity, Suttle Projects were commissioned to construct a series of kingpost retaining walls for secure ballast storage.
