The replacement of the existing reinforced concrete bridge over the M27 at Rownhams formed a key part of a major highways infrastructure scheme. As a second-tier supplier to Osborne’s Highways Division, we were responsible for delivering a range of enabling works, civil engineering and specialist piling operations to prepare the site for the installation of the new bridge deck.
The project required careful coordination across multiple work packages, including the construction of temporary access infrastructure, piling platforms, reinforced earth structures and foundations, all within a live motorway environment where safety, sequencing and programme certainty were essential.
